The Board of
Directors of Crossings at Brook Hills Homeowners’ Association is in the final
stages of implementing an association website and electronic communication option
for homeowners. Illinois statutes
require the Association to obtain permission from the homeowner in order to 1) grant
access to the web page, and 2) communicate with the homeowner via text
messaging and/or email.
In order for
a homeowner to access the Association webpage and to receive electronic
communication via text message and/or email, including the option to cast votes
on HOA matters when applicable, the homeowner must “Opt-In.” Although “opting in” is not mandatory, the
Board encourages homeowners to “opt-in, in” to reduce the costs involved in preparing
and mailing HOA notices to homeowners.
The website and electronic communication will enable the Board, as well
as Shrank & Associates, Inc., to provide timely and up-to-date information
to homeowners. Please be advised that
if you choose to “Opt-In,” it is your responsibility to provide and maintain
your current email address and mobile phone number on file with the
association.
